Teaching algorithmic in class is not easy. Using calculators for this purpose has some advantages: you don't need to move your class to the computer room to teach algorithm, students can work on their programs from anywhere – from classroom or from home ; and you are sure that students are focused on their learning.

CASIO BASIC is a simple programming language, but efficient, with which we can teach input/output, how to use variables, loop and conditional instructions, char, graphic etc...

During this workshop, we will see different kind of programs such as display the Sierpinski Triangle, Code and decode a message... and how they can be used to teach algorithmic. We will also show you how to use a program in another one and how to save a program in .text and show it for a correction in classroom.
